Every year, CNGD brings together international partners, local volunteers, and generous donors to deliver one of the most heartwarming outreach events in Northern Ghana. Children, the elderly, the sick, and the needy receive essential food packages, clothing, toys, and medical care — reminding every beneficiary that they are seen, valued, and not forgotten.
The campaign has grown year-on-year, expanding its reach to more communities and touching thousands of lives across the region through the power of collective giving.

Providing scholarships, school supplies, and mentorship to keep girls in school longer. Our programme combats early dropout rates caused by poverty, early marriage, and cultural barriers — ensuring every girl has the right to a quality education.
Our WASH (Water, Sanitation & Hygiene) programme teaches proper handwashing techniques and provides hygiene kits to schools and households in rural Northern Ghana, dramatically reducing preventable waterborne diseases among children and families.
Our flagship Christmas outreach delivered food, clothing, toys, and medical care to hundreds of children, elderly, and sick community members. International and local partners joined hands to spread joy and dignity to those who needed it most.
In partnership with IOM and EU-funded programmes, CNGD raises awareness about the dangers of irregular migration — trafficking, exploitation, and abuse — particularly among vulnerable children and youth communities in rural Northern Ghana.
Mobilising volunteers and donors, CNGD coordinated a large-scale distribution of food packages, buckets, and essential household items to hundreds of families across underserved communities, ensuring no family was left behind during difficult periods.
Equipping women and young people with practical vocational skills — from tailoring and beadwork to financial literacy and business management — so they can establish sustainable small businesses and support their families independently.
Children and families received colourful gift bags filled with essential items, bringing joy and dignity to hundreds of households. Elderly community members were visited and cared for, reinforcing CNGD's commitment to honouring every generation.
Working directly with schools and PTAs to boost enrolment rates and reduce dropout, CNGD facilitates community mobilisation events that reconnect out-of-school children with education — providing resources, motivation, and family support.
A forthcoming series of community-led forums and school workshops focused on equipping young people, parents, and community leaders with the tools to identify, prevent, and report child trafficking and exploitation in their areas.
